Links Energy Partners, an affiliate of Heights Energy Partners, has over 75 years of combined experience in the energy and utility industry. Since 2012, our team has provided our customers with energy management solutions, like Demand Response, to maximize their potential revenue and savings.

Based in the historic Heights neighborhood northwest of downtown Houston, Heights Energy Partners is the parent company of Links Energy Partners, Links Asset Management, CSD Energy Advisors, and Roots Clean Energy.

Together, the affiliate companies offer the full spectrum of energy solutions from single meter facilities to multi-state properties including procurement, asset management and sustainability and renewable initiatives. Each affiliate operates inside every fully and partially deregulated electricity and natural gas market including, but not limited to CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, NEISO, NYISO and PJM (California, Connecticut, D.C., Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia).

Jason Gunderson has more than  10 years of experience in various energy related fields including sales leadership, risk management, wholesale supply and demand response.

Based in Houston, Jason serves as President and founder of the Links EP demand response (QSE) and utilizes his portfolio and risk management experience, along with skills in contract structuring and negotiation to drive enhanced results for his clientele.

Andrew Barth combines fifteen years of industry experience, customer service, and technology to provide client based solutions. His areas of expertise are in the planning and sourcing of commodity procurement strategies, risk management, and the development of efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Mr. Barth is also serving in his second year as President of the National Board of The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA).

With more than fifteen years of industry experience at one of largest wholesale and retail power generation companies, Mr. Schmidt held numerous positions focused on Commercial and Industrial clients across the United States.

In addition to structuring complex and wholesale-like retail products for energy intensive clients, his expertise includes asset development for utility and distributed thermal and renewable generation resources.

JB offers more than thirteen years of energy experience on both the Supplier and Consulting sides of the industry.  He uses his market knowledge as well as leverage buying power to implement procurement strategies that merge price, product and renewable solutions while maintaining the utmost integrity on behalf of his customers.

Mr. Sowyrda previously served as Executive V.P. of Operations at Texas-based Incite Energy.

As Senior Account Executive, Matt provides customers with energy management options such as Demand Response and Peak Demand Management, which allow participants to monetize their energy through cost avoidance and energy cost offset strategies.

Matt is a former pitcher with the Los Angeles Angels and Washington Nationals organizations and earned his B.S in Business Administration from Trinity University.

As Links Energy Partners‘ Software Engineer, Keith is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s proprietary Energy Analytics Portal.

Keith specializes in full-stack development. He is experienced with all stages of the development cycle for dynamic software projects and is well-versed in many programming languages.
